Getting started
Do I need boxing experience?
No. Most members start as beginners. Your coach teaches the basics and helps you improve while you train.
Do I need to be fit before I start?
No. Every exercise can be adjusted to your current fitness, confidence and movement ability.
Is there sparring or contact?
No. BoxHiit30 is fitness boxing. You hit bags and pads, not other people.
What should I bring?
Wear comfortable training gear and bring a drink bottle. Allow a little extra time for your first visit.
Workouts and access
How long is a workout?
The workout takes 30 minutes. Start your full session at least 40 minutes before staffed hours end.
Are there fixed class times?
No. During staffed hours the workout runs continuously, so you arrive and begin at the next round.
Can I train at both locations?
Yes. Membership gives you access to Central and Kaiapoi.
Which location has 24/7 access?
Kaiapoi members have 24/7 access outside staffed hours using the screen-guided workout. Central operates during staffed hours.
Membership
What membership options are available?
Choose up to two sessions for $49 per week, up to three for $65 per week, or unlimited training for $75 per week. See the full membership details.
Is there a joining cost?
New members require a $200 Starter Pack, including gloves, wraps, a Myzone heart-rate belt and glove deodorisers. Your first weekly membership payment is included in the start-up payment.
Am I locked into a long contract?
No. Membership is month to month and requires 30 days' written notice to cancel.
Can I freeze my membership?
Yes. Membership can be frozen for up to eight weeks per year at $5 per week with at least five days' notice.
What is the minimum age?
Membership is available from age 14. Members under 16 require appropriate supervision.
Locations
Where is Central and where do I park?
Central is at 209 Madras Street. Validate your parking inside for 75 minutes free in the parking building above the club.
Where is Kaiapoi and where do I park?
Kaiapoi is at 99 Williams Street. Free parking is behind the studio, accessed beside the building from Williams Street or via Hilton Street.
What if I have an injury or medical condition?
Tell us before you train so we can understand what support or medical clearance may be required and whether movements can be adjusted safely.
